Perched on the hillside overlooking Alaska’s First City, Cape Fox Lodge offers an unforgettable experience inspired by the beauty and traditions of Southeast Alaska. Owned by Cape Fox Corporation — a Tlingit Alaska Native village corporation — the lodge was created to share the artistry, stories, and spirit of the Tlingit people with guests from around the world.

Cape Fox Lodge first opened in 1990, built by local Tlingit craftsmen as a gathering place for travelers and community alike. In 2019, the property was fully renovated, blending modern amenities with timeless Alaskan character.
Every space — from the grand lobby to the Heen Kahidi Restaurant and Eagle’s Nest Lounge — reflects a story of heritage and heart. Guests will discover artwork by Tlingit artists throughout the lodge, each piece connecting the past and present of Southeast Alaska.
